UNEP DATABANK OF LABORATORIES ANALYZING PERSISTENT ORGANIC POLLUTANTS
"POPS LABORATORY DATABANK"

This databank of existing POPs laboratories has been developed since 2005 through the UNEP/GEF project "Assessment of Existing Capacity and Capacity Building Needs to Analyse POPs in Developing Countries". The POPs Laboratory Databank identifies operational laboratories worldwide and provides information on their capabilities to analyse classes of POPs in different matrices. The databank is maintained by UNEP Chemicals to support the effectiveness evaluation of the Stockholm Convention (e.g., Global POPs Monitoring Plan), other MEA needs, and to serve as a reference for UNEP’s projects.
