| New instrumentation | Since January 2008, the HRGC-ECD system, Dani Italia, is operating with 60 m capillary column, which allows for better resolution and to determine specific PCB; towards the end of the year, a HRGC-MS system will be operational.

| International intercalibration studies (2005) | For the 2005 Intercalibration study (IAEA-435), we have received per e-mail the information that our results were satisfactory (Dr. J.P. Villeneuve). Unfortunately, the participation code for our laboratory was lost (did not reach us). We try to ask for a copy of the report or at least for our participation code of our laboratory. We also asked that Dr, Villeneuve would kindly communicate th code to you.
Ejercicio de intercomparación 2005 (IAEA-435), por comunicación vía email el coordinador del ejercicio, Dr J.P. Villeneuve, nos comunicó que habíamos tenido resultados satisfactorios. Lamentablemente el informe con el código se extravió (no llegó nunca al laboratorio). En estos momentos estamos solicitando que de ser posible nos envíe una copia del informe y si esto no pudiera ser, al menos el código asignado a nuestro Laboratorio en ese ejercicio.
