Cooperation
The POPT programme is mainly concerned with projects, using existing laboratories as partners for the many of the analysis. The number of compounds that can be handled are much more than indicated above, in collaboration with our partner institutions. The infrastructure for extraction is being developed so that extracts can be send to partner labs, that have accredited analytical methods in place. Data is shared through project agreements, as are authorships. Liquid/liquid, soxhlet and accelerated solvent extraction is in place, and we also plan to acquire gell permeation chromatography for clean-up. The QA/QC is in arrangement with our partners, and therefore subject to the same regime. Exchange for training ensures that sampling, sample handling, extraction and other procedures are subject to the various QA/QC requirements.
