Standards
The standards for Organochlorine Pesticides are too old and have never been replaced and actually it is extremely difficult to obtain them by command due to complexes procedures and delivering deadlines en consequence of the combat against terrorism and third world countries. For the new pesticides, it seems that there is no problem as the companies that claim the homologation of a product provide automatically their standards.

Needs:
- Training for Lab staff; - Updating and inter-calibration of techniques and equipments due to the constant evolution of the instruments; - Acquisition of new equipments in the framework of multinational projects; - Implementation of new methods of analysis; - Even if the existent equipments are of good quality, they need to be up to date; - Acquisition of a MSMS.
