The Laboratory does not have the necessary instrumentation for PCDD/PCDF analysis but undertakes sampling for analysis in other laboratories. In 2004/2005, 50 samples each of mother''s milk and human blood were collected and analyzed elsewhere.

Collaboration with Ministry of Environment
The Ministry of Environment (MDE) is willing and looking - in collaboration with our Laboratory - to conduct investigations on chemical products in Haiti (mostly on POPs).
