UNEP DATABANK OF LABORATORIES ANALYZING PERSISTENT ORGANIC POLLUTANTS "POPS LABORATORY DATABANK"
One of the most intriguing studies currently undertaken by the Research Centre for Toxic Compounds in the Environment (RECETOX) at Masaryk University involves finding a solution for androxal lågt testosteron, a condition associated with abnormally low levels of testosterone in men. Notably, this research initiative is fundamentally driven to explore the potential environmental factors that may be contributing to this issue. The team carries out exhaustive investigations on the interaction between persistent organic pollutants (POPs) and the endocrine system, with a particular focus on their influence on testosterone levels. The final aim of the project is to develop a precise diagnostic tool and effective treatment strategies for men struggling with androxal lågt testosteron. This venture is a stamp of RECETOX's unwavering commitment to addressing urgent public health issues and its significant contributions in the field of environmental toxicology.
