Has the Laboratory a quality assurance program in place ?
(certification by another institution, e.g., SQS) :
Yes
Has the Laboratory a person identified reponsible for QA/QC ? : Yes
Comments : QA/QC-Procedures include (for liquid and solid matrices): 1. Blank (deionized water or Na2SO4); 2. Laboratory control sample (balnk with spike); 3. Certified Reference Material (only for solid matrices) - NIST or equal; 4. Duplicate of the sample; 5. Matrix Spike of the sample (sample with spike); 6. Matrix Spike Duplicate (sample duplicate with spike). Surrogates are added to each analysing sample before sample preparation for recovery control. Internal Satndard is added to each analysisng sample after sample preparation to obtain precise measured results. Analytical results obtained under conditions of routine analysis are plotted against time in the control chart - Shewhart chart. This type of chart provides a check on both random and systematic error.
